Here is the first video of our little one moving around. He does a little kick and flip over. This was around 12 weeks old.

Early this week, I was a bit worried about some of the changes that were happening to my body. But the day of the ultrasound clear all the worries up for me. It was so amazing to see that little heart beat. Trevor and I just held each others hands and were blown away.
Our Ultrasound was on November 22nd and that day we were 7 weeks and 4 days. Next Ultrasound is December 14th. Dear little snow baby... Please keep growing and staying strong. There are many people praying for you. So hold on! We love you. Love your Mom and Dad Adoption: Trevor and I had our home study and both had our individual meetings. We need to finish up all paper work and reports and last meeting is December 4th. So much is going on. Got my period yesterday and called Calgary. They returned my call before lunch. I'm to keep on my suprefact and start back on estrace on October 2nd (1mg), October 6th up my dose to 2 pills and October 10th up my dose to 3 pills. Then I have my ultrasound on October 15th.
I got everything booked for the ultrasound 10:30 am. Then I double checked that I had enough prescription and refills. Check and check! Adoption;
We have our phone interview with Melanie from shepherds care on Tuesday at 7:30am and it will take until 9am. We need to make sure we write down any questions. Love egg: Baby kisses
Love Egg: Make Babies Well here we go: Got to the clinic at 7:45, had to go into the men's room so that Trevor could give me my suprefact injection. Where are the family bathrooms? Blood work: had an intern who couldn't find a good vein so they used a butterfly, not sure what that is but it didn't hurt. Just a quick tip nurse said to always drink water before blood work. Good to know. Ultrasound: Dr. Greene walked in and said "big day, we need lots of eggs"..... So...... I guess my body doesn't like to produce eggs. We have 3 good size on te left side and 1 baby size egg and another even smaller. They need the baby egg to grow up! And hopefully the other egg does the same, but it doesn't look promising. Thoughts: Trevor and I have done everyhing we could, so we are going to proceed this time and hope for at least one embryo. One is always better than none. Next steps: More Gonal: we picked up another pen, cost of $445.00, this will last us until Friday. Friday: we have an ultra sound to see if these eggs will grow, then will know what will happen next after that. Sign: we signed our life away and the nurse thinks we may need to pay for ICSI, where they put the sperm and egg together. Cost $1,500.00 extra. Man we love to do things the hard way. 8:45: we met with the psychologist, she was awesome. She asked us to think about 1. What will happen if this doesn't work? 2. Will I return to work or take time off? 3. If we want to do IcSI She talked to us about what would happen next, staying supported by friends and family, she was a patient and now has twins. I was worried about the retrieval and she said the HSG hurt worse. Lol! So Trevor and I are staying healthy, resting and praying that the eggs grow. We will keep you posted Friday. 4Pm- injection shot 8Pm - injection shot |
