2 months
I can't believe how fast time goes. Here are his highlights from the month.
Breastfeeding
- wow all you moms out there, I can't believe how much it hurts. They are cracked and sore and bleeding. So around the time my sister came to visit August 23rd, I was still in tears and the doctor was concerned he wasn't getting enough to eat and wanted me to feed off the breast and then supplement him. Well I was feeding and pumin after, I should have plenty of milk. So I took a break from breastfeeding and started pumping, I did this for a week and he was doing great, took from the bottle great. In one week his weight started at 8lbs 2oz and grew over a pound! By his next doctor appointment September 10th he was 10lbs 14oz. I tried a few times going back to the breast but it was killing me and sometimes bleeding. I went and saw a consultant and my latch was good. Who the heck knows. Right now we continue to pump and give him the bottle. I seem to providing lots of milk, I can pump enough to still put away 1-3 bags each day. Everywhere I go I bring my little babe and my pump. Lol!
